Are You A New Member?

All new members are strongly encouraged to attend the new member orientation class.  New member orientation is held in a 2-part class.  NO RESERVATION REQUIRED!  Just bring some business cards (if available), possibly a copy of your resume, a notepad, writing utensil and yourself.

Part 1:  Tuesday’s from 9 AM – 10 AM a high level overview to learn about the programs and services of CareerConnection.  Then from 10 AM to 12 PM, you will join the individuals in the General Session.

Part 2:  Thursday’s from 9 AM – 12 PM.  Covers the following topics: 

• The CareerConnection Website
• Written Collateral: resumes, business cards, cover letters, etc.. Verbal Collateral: 30-second elevator speech
• Job Search on the Internet
• Interviewing
