Dear all,
I hope that you had a happy and safe 4th of July.
It is hard to believe that the year is 1/2 over, I hope that we are moving into the better half. The first half was very tough for us all.
I have attached the latest list of leaders and moderators of groups in the DFW area. If you know of changes or those we need to add to the group, please let me know.
Remember if you want to post an event to the group the email address to send your message is CareerDFW_Leaders@ yahoogroups. com. You will not see job postings, but if you need help, I know there are others in the group who will be glad to assist you.
I have attended a couple of groups over the past few weeks (Southlake, Ft. Worth Career Search and the Brown Bag Networking group in Allen). I appreciate the hospitality you showed me and really appreciate what you do for others. It gave me a really good feeling when I saw how many people knew about the website and I appreciated the many people who came up to me to thank me.
I never created the website to promote me, the site is was created to help others.
What new at www.CareerDFW. org ?
1) The file section now has over 75 files that anyone can access. Hope to add many more in the coming weeks.
2) The Tip-of-the-week will start very soon.
3) The site is averaging over 1250 people a week on the site.
4) CareerDFW is now recognized by the State of Texas as a nonprofit corporation.
Is there anything YOU would like to see on the website? Just let me know.
Keep up the great work. If anything has changed with your group, please check the map, calendar and group listing to make sure that your info is correct.
