MANAGER of MARKETING RESEARCH
Seeking a manager with good business acumen and be able connect the strategic issues that affect the business with appropriate research designs. Along with technical capabilities, my client is seeking an experienced manager who possesses good interpersonal and communication skills needed for building cross functional partnerships within the organization as well as with various market research service companies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop, plan and execute primary research projects that range from qualitative studies through to quantitative surveys
• Manage and execute analyses of research data
• Perform due diligence on secondary sources of information
• Negotiate terms with suppliers for the procurement syndicated market research
• Mange the immediate information needs of internal constituents like Sales, Corporate Strategy, Product Management and others
• Conduct desktop research and analyses using raw survey data in response to requests from a variety of internal constituents

QUALIFICATIONS & NEEDED EXPERIENCE:
• Experience planning and managing research budgets as well as managing direct reports would be valuable
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of experience of prior work in a market research position preferably in a corporate environment
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with statistical analytical techniques that includes analyses of raw survey data for descriptive work and multivariate analyses
• Experience using SPSS, SAS or STATA would be preferred
• Experience of consumer research in automotive and consumer electronics product sectors would be beneficial
• Self-motivation: ability to work independently when needed
