NETWORK SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR
Administers enterprise network systems and security programs, processes
and quality assurance measures

Key Responsibilities: Network Design Network
Alerting/Alarming/ Performance Reporting/Monitorin g platforms Source,
test, implement open source solutions for network management and
reporting Create implementation plans network upgrade projects
Switch/router/ firewall configuration and policy development Implement
and maintain Intrusion Detection/Protectio n system Wireless network
security/design/ implementation.

Primary Responsibilities: 1. Ensures network infrastructure designs
comply with best practices Information Security policies and standards.
2, Develops new standards and baseline configuration procedures (as
needed) to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of
data; performs network security assessments and compliance reviews. 3.
Recommends and leads network and security device configuration changes
(firewalls, IPS, switches, routers, etc.) based upon incident analysis,
risk assessment, and vulnerability assessment. 4. Ensures timely
resolutions of such; use of various session and packet tracing tools to
analyze various levels of network and application performance including
TCP and HTTP protocol performance analysis. 5. Creates and maintains
various levels of WAN/LAN diagrams using leading best practices tools
and polices. 6. Creates and implements various types of
alerting/alarming/ reporting mechanisms for all aspects of network
operation

Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 5-7 years experience with Watch
guard firewalls, Extreme network switches, Cisco routers and load
balancers, Juniper VPN s, wireless networks. Recent network security
certifications is required. Bachelors degree in field of specialty is
required.

Perm in Dallas - mockingbird/ i35 area… salary range is $75,000 to
$95,000 DOE (prefer mid range). Client can not sponsor work visas at
this time…Green Card holders and US Citizens only please.
