A new Pair of Shoes by Debbie Morrison

3 April 2010 No Comment

For the last 13 months and 21 days, I wore the same pair of shoes to either surf the net, send out resumes or go and interview. Today I get to retire those shoes and put a new pair  to start a new job. Or in other words I have landed. I would like to thank God, Southlake Focus Group, Crossroads Transition Group, and all my friends and family for their loyal support.  They picked me up when I didn’t think that I would ever find a landing spot. God truly answered my prayers for this position and its a new beginning. I urge you to continue to walk the walk and apply the lessons learned thru prayer and guidance. I know that there were lessons for me to learn thru this long haul and I never cease to learn what God has in store for me thru trials and tribulations. I urge each of you to continue to seek guidance thru prayer and thru those that work with the groups that help you. Never give up because you never know whats around the corner for you. I pray
that everyone finds what makes you happy and a a rewarding position that keeps you employed until which time you can walk away and say my job here is done.

I will never forget the lessons learned at SFG and how I applied them to myself and I hope that everyone takes the lessons and applies them to their particular situation.

Until we meet again, I wish you all the best and I pray that everyone finds what they are looking for.

Best Regards,
Debbie Morrison
