First I will apologize for this mass sent email.  So many of you have been so supportive during my search that I couldn’t send each a personal note.  I’m sure I’ll talk with lots of you in the future and can go into more details.

Starting June 1, I will become the Human Resources Director for VLSIP Technologies, Inc. in Richardson, TX.  www.vlsip.com.  This microchip module manufacturing company has approximately 200 employees and has been around since the mid ‘80’s.  I will be replacing a retiring individual in a true “one person HR office”.  In fact, it took a week to formally type up the offer letter to send to me since THE company secretary was out of the office.  This tells me there is some ‘low hanging fruit’ that I can make some immediate impact. I am very excited but also nervous about starting a job where I know no one.  

I have so many people to thank that I don’t know where to start.  Friends, former co-workers and work associates, networking groups and so on.  I leave the job search process knowing it was the hardest job I’ve ever had.  I really understand the difficulties so many in the market are facing and wish them all luck.
