Patty Toney is moving for a new job
I have waited 11 ½ months to be able to write this update to everyone in my network. I have accepted a position with PNC Financial Services as the Vice President of Human Resources for Business Banking in Pittsburgh , PA. I start June 28th and the rush is already on in preparation for the move. I am very excited about this opportunity as PNC continues to grow, focusing on their employees and the customer. They are a solid bank and highly capitalized.
PNC’s process and approach was so polished and the internal culture is heavily focused on employees and employee engagement. I was impressed with their focus on talent, growing their talent through the organization and treating employees with dignity and respect. I was also very impressed with the hiring process. It spoke volumes about who they were as a company.
This has been a very long journey for me. Don’t let anyone tell you networking does not work. A person in my network passed my resume inside PNC and I got a call within 2 days.
Each of you has walked with me in this journey and I am forever grateful. Thank you for all your support, for opening the closed doors, being there with a listening ear, and at time moving mountains for me to get me introduced to key contacts. I could not have done this without you.
