Successful, well established international organization with their corporate office in DFW is currently interviewing for a Senior Business Analyst. This role will support various departments throughout the organization in an effort to automate, conduct various query efforts, lead/participate in special projects and provide on automation opportunities. There will be extensive interaction with corporate operations in an effort to qualify realistic expectations of the business. Additional responsibilities will include:

•Utilization of SQL experience for relational database effort
•Supporting Finance and Accounting “end users” regarding report writing and data mining projects
•Assist with improvement of Hyperion data mining application
•Business analysis and reporting
•Forecasting
•Program management
•Support the company through revenue reporting and analysis to further understanding of sales trends and identify opportunities for growth
•Work to initiate and track regular performance of various programs
•Generate analysis to explain negative/positive trends for revenue and expense areas
•Ad-hoc work on frequent basis
•Support Financial Systems implementation efforts
•Support Data and Reports Governance Activities
•Administer/maintain external reporting consolidations application
•Assist with the implementation/ development of a portal and enhanced BI tools
•Support the growing reporting accountability to the business
•Manage requirements and the design of Financial and Management rep

QUALIFICATIONS
•Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA is a helpful
•2+ years experience in accounting or finance related role
•2+ years experience utilizing systems to automate or create reports and support analytical projects
•Solid experience with SQL for data mining purposes
•Strong communicator
•Proven analytical, reporting, and process improvement experience
•Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting financial documents
•Detailed knowledge of the accounting cycle and processes
•Accomplished in the use of MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint
•Experience with SQL and database management
•Accomplished in the use of Hyperion or Other BI OLAP technologies
•Hyperion FR and IR experience a plus
•Good Organization and planning skills
•Professional presentation and demeanor
•Financial services industry experience a plus
•Experience working with rapidly growing organizations a plus
