In its 57 years, the foundation has awarded over $1 billion in charitable grants. CFT is seeking a talented, articulate and energetic Cost Analyst to meet the needs of the Texas High School Project. The cost analyst is responsible for accounting, financial analysis, and reporting requirements in support of THSP and its various funding sources. This position reports to CFTs Vice President of Accounting with a dotted line reporting relationship to THSPs Director of Finance. Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience, excellent financial analysis and organizational skills, a
good understanding of GAAP, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, heavy Excel experience in financial modeling including P&Ls, strong problem solving skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks. Nonprofit experience, familiarity with Blackbaud software and OMB Circular A-122, knowledge of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board and Education Department General Administration regulations would be a plus.
