A new division of an established company near Grapevine is seeking a Controller. This is a hands on role which can lead to a CFO position as the company grows. This position is a one person accounting department and will grow as the company expands. Goal of the position is to allow the accounting system to automate most of the processes to the point that the Controller can spend 50% of their time handling the accounting and the remaining time being more forward thinking in determining corporate strategy, analysis and negotiating contracts, etc. Salary up to $70K.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Masters is a plus
Minimum 4 years experience with progressive career growth
CPA is a plus
Prior public accounting audit experience a plus
Prior responsibility for all accounting duties- A/P, A/R, credit, Payroll, General ledger, reporting, Forecasting, and maintaining bank relationships.
Must have the acumen for negotiating contracts, financial planning and analysis, and corporate strategy.
Must be career minded with the goal of becoming a CFO- this can be a “fast-track” opportunity!
Must be ambitious and aggressive in achieving career goals
Knowledge of automated accounting systems and implementations a big plus; Great Plains (Dynamics GP) knowledge preferred.
