We currently have a Manager, End User Services Infrastructure career opportunity at our Dallas, TX location.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Manager, End User Services Infrastructure will be responsible in the planning, implementation, and administration of all End Unser Services systems, including Active Directory, Email, File/Print and PC environments. The candidate must have an excellent understanding of the systems development life cycle while encouraging adherence to corporate and regulatory standards using project management practices based on IT Methodology.

The Manager, EUS Infrastructure will be managing, leading and providing technical support to the Infrastructure and PC Lifecycle Services teams. Responsibilities include planning, coordination and reporting on; maintenance, root cause analysis, permanent resolutions, infrastructure enhancements and modifications. He/She will manage vendor performance through routine measurements and reviews.

The candidate will represent IT End User Services in front of the business units and project teams, building positive relationships with individuals at various levels of IT staff and management. Acting as a technical leader in this area, his/her strategy will have to be in line with the overall technical architecture of the Information System, as well as with the operational requirements and business needs. The manager will assist both the Strategy & Enterprise Architecture and Pre-Production departments in developing road maps and methodology in these areas. The candidate must maintain a high level of expertise on current and emerging technologies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manages and directs the efforts of personnel in his/her area of responsibility. Conduct midterm and yearly performance reviews of the OA team members based on their performance objectives.
2. Provides leadership that fosters teamwork, employee respect, empowerment and open communications.
3. Responsible for hiring, orientation, training, directing technical assessments and developing staff.
4. Recommends and implements practices and policies that maximize employee development, training and performance.
5. Ensure operational support and coordination with his/her team, IT and Business groups.
6. Responsible in the implementation of IT Projects using project management best practices based on IT Methodology. Create project definitions, define goals & objectives based on business requirements, analyze cost/benefit expectations and manage resources.
7. Review, Plan and enhance the current strategy regarding Microsoft solutions. Assist in design and manage the team in the implementation of infrastructure components. Make recommendations for changes to the supported environments to maintain adequate capacity, performance and supportability.
8. Prepare documentation, procedures and performance statistics for distribution to IT teams. Coordinate the development and maintenance of procedures, specifications and standards at the global level.
9. In coordination with the Information Security Department, evaluates EUS security and privacy needs and includes suitable controls in all proposed information systems solutions
10. Conducts, attends, contributes and participates in regular departmental meetings. Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and Essilor IT groups (Domestic / International) .
11. Should be a Team Player, approachable, and a good technical writer.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1. BS in IT, MIS required
2. MCSE Windows 2003+ or MCTIP preferred
3. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT, including 5+ years of experience in Project Management
4. Strong Managerial and Team building skills
5. Financial planning and Budgeting skills a plus
6. Strong Project Management and Systems analysis skills with significant experience in Microsoft Infrastructure design and technologies with excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
7. Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio
8. Self motivated, eager to learn and grow in the IT profession
9. Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.
10. Customer service oriented
11. Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation
12. Domestic and International travel required
13. Dedication
