JOB DESCRIPTION

The VP/COO of Operations will report to the CEO and play key role on the executive leadership team. COO will manage an existing team of seven direct reports, with over 100 employees under his/her leadership. The desired operational leader will be responsible for directing the Operations Team to include; warehouse, production, logistics, food safety and procurement. Qualified candidate should have demonstrated record of driving improved supply chain performance, developing purchasing organization capable to building strong value-based relationships with a competitive advantage, managing inventory and manufacturing schedules, executing and adhering the strict food safety practices, budgeting, forecasting and driving supply chain strategy.

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a supply chain strategy across multiple locations.

In-depth knowledge of key supply chain practices and current best practices.

Evidence of successful negotiation, procurement leadership and supplier relationship management.
