The drought is over
Hallelujiah — and for those that don’t know, that word actually means “Praise the Lord”!
I’m pleased to report that our Lord has blessed me with a 6-month contract-to-hire position with Nokia Siemens Networks through a consulting firm (Fusion Solutions, Inc.). My role is a Solution Delivery Project Manager for a new IPTV (Internet Protocol TeleVision) product.
Roller coaster rides usually only last about 2 minutes or so, don’t they? My unemployment roller coaster ride was right about 12 months, but our Lord was with us every step of the way, providing in ways we never imagined. There were times when we weren’t sure how we’d get through the next month, but He sustained us through various circumstances, some of which came through some of you.
Do we know why we had to walk throug this valley? Not specifically (yet), but I have my theories, one of which is that there is one or more people our Lord has lined up divine appointments with that I/we will be able to help walk through their valley. I/we will be able to legitimately say “I/we know what you’re going through” and can minister to and encourage them. What an honor it would be to do that! And perhaps it might even be someone who does not yet know the Lord!
Thank you all for your steadfast prayers for us during the 12 months of unemployment. I would humbly ask now for your prayers for our Lord’s guidance in performing my new duties in a way that is pleasing and glorifying to Him.
Colossians 3:23-24, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
Blessings,
Robert
