An official with Bloomington, Ill.-based State Farm Insurance said today the company plans to hire 140 workers to fill newly created jobs at its new Richardson office at 1011 Galatyn Pkwy.
The jobs will be assistant and entry-level jobs within the insurer’s claims and customer service divisions.
“We hope to fill these positions soon,” said Patti Kelly, a State Farm spokeswoman. Kelly said the company expects to add more jobs in the future, but declined to specify a hiring time frame.
