Job Description:
Summary: Work in collaboration with the Director of Materials to ensure materials and parts are purchased and available for manufacturing facilities to produce products and parts for OEM, supplier and customer orders. Assist with inventory controls and accountability during plant auditing and inventory controls.

Organize activities related to the procurement function.
Monitors purchasing systems and procedures.
Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability, and prepares market analysis reports.

Commodity Manager or Senior Buyer: Greater Detroit, MI area
Must have Hybrid purchasing component experience and a technical background in Hybrid specific components.
At least 3 years experience within Hybrid commodity.
Must be detail-oriented, with specific understanding of product cost drivers.
Must possess negotiating skills.
Must demonstrate ability to independently handle and prioritize multiple tasks with aggressive deadlines.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
