I am excited to announce that after almost a year of being a transition I started a new job today. I have joined Aricent, a global design and engineering company, as an HR Director serving as the Sr. HRBP for Enterprise Software and Consumer Business. In addition, I will act as the lead for Total Rewards Lead and will have responsibility for building out all local HR policies and processes in the US.
Thank you to everyone who has helped me in my search and during my transition. I am very grateful to have such an amazing network of stellar HR professionals. If there is ever anything I can do to pay it forward please do not hesitate to ask!!
A word of special thanks to you, along with praise to our amazing God. I so appreciate your faithful prayers and support during my season of transition.
I’ve been hired as Director of Organizational Advancement (aka, Executive Director) for Open Arms International. My official first day is Monday, September 25. I’ll announce this tomorrow at Southlake Focus Group, but first wanted to give you a personal update.
To acquaint you with this Christian nonprofit ministry, here’s a link to their web site: http://www.openarmsinternational.org/
. Open Arms works primarily in Eldoret, Kenya, using an innovative village model that serves orphaned and abandoned children and also acts as a base for outreach to the surrounding community. The founders and Board of Directors wanted someone to effectively pastor the staff, provide organizational leadership, and advance donor and volunteer relations.
Open Arms is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Some time ago, the Board had decided to expand the ministry to Dallas-Fort Worth and desired someone to be the point person. So, I’ll be working out of an office in Hurst. Plans are to transition operations and staff to Texas, where there is also a significant donor base. For the near term, I’ll build a team here and oversee staff in both locations.
I’m very excited to embark on this new God-adventure! Please continue to pray that he will provide grace, wisdom and strength for the journey. Since the start of my job search four months ago, I’ve been praying a scripture from Psalm 143: 8–10. I’ll continue to express every petition because I’ll need every provision. Thanks again for standing with me!
Yours in Jesus,
