The IT Project Manager position provides end to end project management duties for any project as assigned to support the USBC business objectives and financial responsibilities. The Project Manager position also focuses on process improvement opportunities within IT and Projects. The Project Manager is a conduit between the business areas and the IT group.


The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure that all assigned tasks are successfully delivered meeting quality, time and budget expectations. 
  • Understand and support the completion of business plan objectives and the IT Roadmap.
  • Responsible for all facets of the project management life cycle for assigned projects including:
  • Provides project management to ensure all project tasks are identified, assigned and completed on time.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration with project teams. 
  • Facilitates requirements gathering sessions.
  • Creates and documents comprehensive business requirements.
  • Communicates accurate status of projects to project stake holders and management.
  • Coordinates and participates in the QA process (test cases, testing, end user testing, bug tracking).
  • Identifies and communicates project risks to Director of Governance
  • Works with the Director of Governance on project prioritization and estimation.
  • Ensures the successful launch of the software project.
  • Identifies and assists in implementing process improvements
  • Oversee production support as needed
  • Keep project management and related skills up to date
  • Other duties as assigned

  • At least 3 years QA/Testing experience
  • At least 3 years of Business Analyst experience
  • At least 2 years IT Project Coordination / Project Management experience
  • Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile management methods (Agile preferred).
  • Experience working with external vendors and internal IT staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and responsible
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel
  • Must be a team player, collaborative, approachable
  • Demonstrates facilitation and elicitation skills
  • Demonstrates leadership skills
  • Experience using JIRA or other project management / issue tracking software a plus
  • Industry knowledge of bowling a plus

  • Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
  • Must be able to work at a computer or sit in meetings for extended periods of time, but will also involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
